Professional Capacity Building Workshop for Creatives
This is a two part workshop. Attendees should plan to be at both sessions
Workshop Session I
May 11, 2024 from 10am – 3pm | Fort Wayne Museum of Art
Whether you are currently working in a career in the arts, retired, a student, or working in the arts part-time, we will provide you with some foundational tools, help you further develop your portfolio, share upcoming opportunities, answer questions, encourage networking, and inspire you! During the first session on May 11, we will cover topics like: the development and use of an artist portfolio, development and updating an artist CV, writing and updating an artist statement, how to provide good images of your work, and local resources are available to creatives to help them succeed. Space is limited!
Speakers include Kaylan Buteyn, Tim Parsley, Rachel Von Stroup, Jeffrey Crane, and the current animation director at Netflix, Zach Parrish!
